prevalence among young people and especially students, it seems important to pay attention to the microbial and radiation effects of mobile phones. Therefore, the current research was conducted with the aim of predicting the intention and behavior of preventing microbial complications and cell phone radiation using the approach of the theory of planned behavior. The current research was applied and its method was descriptive. The statistical population of the research included 302 students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, who were selected by available sampling method. In order to collect data, the planned behavior theory questionnaire was used for preventive behaviors regarding microbial complications and cell phone radiation, which was designed and standardized by Babaei Hyderabadi et al. For data analysis, spss -24 software was used and structural equation modeling was used in Amos -24 software . Among the components of the theory of planned behavior, attitude (P<.0001, β= .32) and perceived behavioral control (P<.013, β= .17) have a significant relationship with the intention to prevent microbial complications and cell phone radiation. they had. Also, the intention of preventive behavior ( β =0.65 , P<.0001 ) and perceived behavioral control ( β= .10, P<.045) can predict the behavior of preventing complications and cell phone radiation. Since attitude had the greatest effect on the intention to prevent microbial complications and cell phone radiation, and also behavioral intention could predict the most amount of behavior to prevent microbial complications and cell phone radiation, so the theory of planned behavior can be used to predict The intention and behavior of prevention of microbial complications and cell phone radiation in students should be effective.
